  3. Time to time Recruitments
  4. Maintenance of Infra
  5. Promotion of Courses
  6. Establishment of AI’s
  7. Proper Functioning of examination Processors
  8. Timely Printing and distribution of certification
  9. Proper Functioning of Staff
  10. Proper Functioning of Account Section

Student Support Service

The Student Support Services (SSS) department is responsible for providing support to the learners in their learning and related issues. The main functions of the Student Support Services (SSS) Department of BSPBOARD are as follows:

  1. Advocacy and publicity of BSPBOARD programmes
  2. Formulation of policy and planning related to student Enrolment and registration
  3. Identification and establishment of study centres
  4. Enrolment and registration of secondary and senior secondary learners of BSPBOARD Monitoring of the functioning of study centres
  5. Conduct of Personal Contact Programmes
  6. Development of policy for continuous assessment of the learners through Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA)
  7. Coordination with the AI Centres for timely and effective support to the learners.

IT-Cell

In Open Learning, the face-to-face contact is very limited and the learners are at a distance and the teaching methodology is distance education mode. In such scenario, Open Schooling has to depend heavily on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is much more relevant in case of Open Schooling by its very character. BSPBOARD has made the optimum utility of IT in almost all of its activities and programmes. Under the programmes and activities of the BSPBOARD, Information and Communication Technology is being used as a major strategy towards reaching the unreached and management of BSPBOARD.
